Meet the Founder
Hello! My name is Marie and I am the founder of The Tasty Picnic. I was born and raised in Yaoundé, Cameroon and I moved to the United States in 2009. I have been a Dallas resident since then. Outside of my work, you can find me reading a good book, traveling, or enjoying peaceful walks in the park.
Travel has been one of my greatest teachers. Experiencing different cultures, aesthetics, and hospitality styles has shaped my vision for The Tasty Picnic. It has taught me that luxury is not just about beautiful décor, it’s about how you make people feel. That belief is at the heart of every setup we design.
Over the years, I’ve dedicated countless hours to refining each detail to ensure every client receives not just a picnic, but a memory worth savoring.
